24-Hour Cycling Showdown!
At this year’s World Time Trial Championships in Borrego Springs, California November 1-2, 2024, two women, Maria Parker and Laura Crawford, will team up and square off against their husbands, Jim Parker and John Crawford, in an epic 24 hour showdown. All four will be racing Cruzbike V20cs, sleek aero bicycles known as the fastest road bikes in the world.
Which team will rack up more miles? Will it be the wives or the husbands? The men or the women?

Lucy Anne’s Place at Benevilla Care
Laura’s father was the primary founder of Lucy Anne’s Place, which was named for her mother, Lucy Anne Black, who passed away in 2012 of Alzheimer’s Disease. 3000 Miles to a Cure
Maria's sister was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2012. Grief-stricken and angered by the lack of treatment options, she set out to raise funds for brain cancer research. Our inaugural event was the infamous 3000 Mile Solo Race Across America in 2013. Maria was the first female finisher in an incredible comeback victory. Maria and Laura are forces to be reckoned with when it comes to ultracycling. Both have achieved impressive records and wins in gruelling events like the one they'll face at the World Time Trial Championships. But Jim and John have their own cycling accolades too!
